Wow.. my very own blog. For those people who know my opinion regarding blogs, you're probably laughing right now.  I can't blame you guys... I have to admit, it IS strange to be reading an entry from someone who once said: "I DON'T BELIEVE IN BLOGS. I have my own journal, and unlike blogs, the things I write there are uncensored." But then again... here I am, typing my very first entry. I am fully aware that by giving in to the blog bandwagon, I am swallowing not only my words, but my pride as well. So what? Sue me if you must... haha

Ladies and gentlemen, allow me to explain the circumstances that forced me to start my very own blog. (uuuy.. defensive! ) The primary reason would be a question that has bothered me since we were given the assignment to interview a prominent person for our MP 165 (Malikhaing Pagsulat 165) subject. My friend sort of researched about her "prominent person" on the internet. She searched her interviewee's name on Google, and a number of matches returned. Thus, the million dollar question: If I type my name in Google, would any search results appear at all? Well, the answer is Yes. Although out of all the results, only ONE is actually related to me. If you click on that result, you will see our high school classroom’s website, and you will end up viewing my profile. That’s about it.. just basic information about me and nothing else. I thought creating a blog would yield one more match that would contain more than just my name and school. Apparently, I thought wrong. Even before I started writing this entry, I typed my name in Google and the same results appeared.

But I’ve got the blog anyway, and I won’t shut it down for the simple reason of not being “googleable”. And besides, I’ve got other reasons for maintaining this site. I need an outlet, and even if I have a journal, nobody else gets to read that anyway, and well..  there are things about me that I want my friends to know. A blog is also very useful for someone popular like me... Umm.. Why do I sense raised eyebrows?..... FINE  "feeling popular". There! You happy now??!! haha... joke.  Well, considering that *ehem* I AM on the road to fame, might as well promote myself through this blog. At least you get to tell your grandchildren that you read Arianne's blog and knew her well even before she made her debut appearance on television or something. Haha..Yeah I know.. dream on...  But hey, this IS my blog! And pwede ako magyabang dito as much as I want!!! (I guess this is the part where I give out an evil laugh...) BWAHAHAHA. So there…I know that the first entry's supposed to be really special, and well.. I know my pilot entry isn't anywhere near "grand".   But I do hope that you guys would still have the patience to read my *ehem* future entries.  God, I still can't believe I have my own blog! haha.. Oh well... WELCOME AND ENJOY.
